Yes. When will they learn about vertical video?
Yeahā¦He was hoping the pig wasnt going to execute him
Those pesky cameras are more tricky than the ācontrabandsā.
Groubert, what a total asshole. i am amazed at how composed Jonesā reaction was in light of what happened.
U donāt seriously think that anybody as jumpy as this cop was going to go out and arrest a dangerous criminal did U?
And poorly trained. If the cop had asked the guy where his license was, this could have been avoided.
Tonight on FOX Noise: āLevar Jones was once not deferential to a white person and we have pictures of him wearing a ~gasp!~ hoodie⦠and he is thus a thug and deserved what he got.ā
And the FOX low/no information viewers will, en masse, put down their Cheetos and clap, while, in unison and with mouth full, say, āThatās riteāā¦he got whutā he deserved! ~burp!~ā
Seat belt violation? Yeah right. How did the officer know the victim was not wearing a seat belt? X ray vision? They truck sits higher than the cruiser. And who needs to wear a seat belt when at a stop at a gas station?
Okayā¦Iām going to get in trouble for this butā¦I can understand Groubertās reaction. Iām not going to say it was the right thing to do, but I can understand it.
I live in Vermontā¦in the past couple of years, I think weāve had a handful of cop-involved shootings. In two cases, the officers were cleared after an investigation was conduced that showed that the officers correctly used deadly force. In one case, a deadly incident with a tazer lead to massive changes in the rules of engagement. The last case I remember has resulted in the cop being remanded for trial for assault after shooting a man in the leg. The man he shot was actively attacking another cop.
The incidents have lead to a push from not just citizens but cops for body cams.
Niceābut not comparable situations.
And since we know how good a shot police officers are itās a good thing he didnāt shoot the other cop. /s
Pig? Such words add nothing to the discussion.
These cops watch waaay to much TV.
I donāt even see how he could assert a seatbelt violation. the car was pulled into a gas station.
Barney Fife was allowed to keep just one bullet in his shirt front pocket, and only loaded it into his gun if he was in serious danger.
So, remarkably, Barney Fife was actually safer and more responsible than this guy.
That may have been where the victim chose to stop after getting the red lights from Officer Friendly.
Fortunate for that dash cam working.
Also? Fortunate that that rotten police officer hadnāt thought to turn it off.
Actually, I was just trying to say that Iām proud of my state. Add to this that after Ferguson, Oklahoma, and Ohio, our cops were called in to review deadly force procedures.
In other words- if lilā olā Vermont can be honest, open and transparent and push for body cams on cops- why in the name of all that is holy canāt the rest of these states do it- and if we can put a cop on trial for not fatally shooting a man, why canāt the other states do it when it is fatal?
He should listen to a few Richard Pryor albums as he recuperates. Pryorās bit about police and reaching for wallets would be handy for him to know.
I was surprised to. Pistols are notoriously inaccurate. Which is why cops are taught to fire at the chest according to a professor of criminal procedures whose class I once sat through.
Though my comment was a bit of snark, I had an uncle in law enforcement tell me that once as well. It seems logical anyway.
