The polls are looking really solid, but what is up with the USC/LA Times poll? I understand it is a tracking poll, so it has some stale responses in it, but to still show Trump up is laughable. Someone over there needs to take a hard look at their methodology.

While this is good news, I will remind you that the only poll with any real impact is the one we will take on November 8, 2016. Vote. Vote Blue. I have to admit, there is likely some sexism going on there. I don’t see how else you explain the numbers compared to 2000-2012. Some men just don’t like the idea of a woman in charge.
But this is a completely misleading article. Clinton is “pulling away”? What bullshit. They just had a successful convention. Of course she’s going to get a bounce. Trump creeped up a bit, and now she creeped up a bit. She’s averaging about the same as she was a month ago.
The real story is that she’s not kicking his ass by 15-20 points! There is something deeply wrong with 40% of the voters in this country.

True enough, but that’s what we’re living with. I’m not sure any other Democrat would be doing much better.
I expect HRC to have something of an upward trajectory as people get to know her better and realize that she is not the dragon lady she has been portrayed. Also, the bad news about Trump just seems to be growing every day. I assume these latest polls do not really reflect the impact of the Khan fiasco and his other missteps of the past few days.
what i find sadder is that i know good, intelligent people who have been trapped in the fox bubble. they buy into what they want to hear, even the ridiculous conspiracy shit. they are “republicans for life” who are unable to deal with the reality of trump. i find this sad,
