Wow, just wow! This is beyond insane. I still can’t believe this family was an 80 year old heartbeat away from the White House. Of all the questions to be posed to McCain, of all the things he needs to be asked to weigh in on, this is number one. Choosing a running mate was the biggest decision of his life and this is the trash he chose. He should never again be able to question anyone’s judgement, particularly the president’s, without having this thrown directly back in his face.

Also, it’s clear from the audio that there is most definitely video floating around out there. I’m guessing the Palin family were either blackmailed for it and/or wrote a check on the spot.

I always felt McCain saw (his financial backers saw) the edge of the financial crisis coming. It was plainly visible by the time he was near the convention, Therefore he needed a way to tank the election or else get elected and then the Republican party would be destroyed, as they knew it would take eight to sixteen years to recover from the damage of the Cheney years. Therefore pick the piece of shit nut case viola! no chance of winning against anyone.
