On a related note–anyone here surprised that there’s a correlation between opioid use and gunz?

The NRA used to be a reputable organization, interested in good marksmanship and responsible gun ownership.
Back in the 1950’s, before the proliferation of semi-automatic weapons. I still have some old NRA medals I earned at summer camp for good marksmanship.
In the 1970’s, it was taken over by right-wing gun nuts and the international arms manufacturers and distributors. Now they are nothing but an industry front group masquerading as a “civil rights” group.
They need to lose their tax status and everything else, because they are purveyors of and suppliers to terrorists.
