So again, though previous Presidents’ actions of this nature went unnoticed by the press, this one gets the bright light on it, because of who is doing it. No news story there.

However, considering that Obama’s term of office will probably be long over before all the appeals of this decision are ended (probably with a SCOTUS decision, of course), this all seems like a waste of time and effort.

It’ll be interesting to see how this plays out because, either way, this will tie up in the judiciary for a very long time.

This one’s easy.

If the Rs favor the eventual SCOTUS decision, they will hail it as a victory over an imperial president’s overreach.

If they oppose it, they will scream legislative activism from the unelected bench and vote to withhold the federal monies necessary to carry it out.

This step, the president said, would enable the administration to focus enforcement efforts on those suspected of terrorism, espionage or gang activity; convicted of serious crimes; apprehended at the border; or who unlawfully entered the U.S. since January 2014.

In light of the recent events in San Francisco, one has to wonder how much long this administration needs to begin focusing on enforcement efforts. Are 7 felonies convictions and 5 previous deportations not enough?

How many other Francisco Sanchez are out on our streets? Is the Obama administration enabled to focus on enforcement efforts yet?

All that we hear from the immigration lunatics are how holy innocents the entire immigration situation is, and how we can do nothing about the illegals. Well, that’s wrong, because we can do something. It’s quite easy - eVerify for jobs, hotels, rentals, and any transaction over $250. Most of the scum immigration apologists would excuse any scum action by an illegal, but refuse to even lift a pinkie to help an American citizen.

To apply for a job one needs identification and a SS number. Illegals use falsified versions of that documentation to apply for a job. To open a business one needs to be registered and/or licensed in some shape or form. To curb illegal immigration it only takes to SERIOUSLY cross check job applicants SS # with the National database, same as is done with NICS for instance, and forbid the employer from hiring if the applicant provides false documentation. Then if an employer willingly scams the system and hires anyway, registration and/or licensing for his/her business is withdrawn for a set number of years. But it takes the willingness of both parties to reach an agreement on being SERIOUS on immigration.
