I actually don’t think it’s appropriate to escalate the rhetoric to “civil war” just yet - words do still matter.
I’d call where we are a “home grown Cold War”. Terrible things are happening, and full on violence can still break out, but we’re not actually shooting each other and we need to avoid feeding their fantasies if we’re to win this thing…
