All of the excitement that has been bandied about as to really getting their hands now on “refomoming” the tax system is just a bunch of nonsense! Trump’s plans have always been to lower the taxes of the extremely rich at everybody else’s expense. The morons who voted for him somehow did not understand (too stupid to grasp plain English, it wasn’t any secret!) and the party leadership didn’t want to talk about it because it’s poisonous. That’s where it was then and that’s exactly where it still is!

How about dealing with the pending debt ceiling. Solve that crisis. How about dealing with Trump’s draconian Budget proposal - the Congressional GOP could look like saviors and “look” like they are doing something by rejecting the draconian proposed cuts to free and reduced lunches, to meals on wheels, etc. They don’t have to do anything but fight the president - BUT they will appear to be working on behalf of the American People. Nah, outside a scant few they don’t want a WH fight.

I’m only a rabid partisan because Democrats seem to be right about 60% of what I agree with, whereas Republicans are wrong about 97%. Democrats should cooperate with Republicans if and only if Republicans’ 3% jackpot of a good idea lines up with Democrats’ 6 out of 10. I calculate a 1.8% chance of anything good coming out of any of it.
