Whomp whomp.
Avenetti also ruled out becoming Pope Francis’ successor, and renounced his claim to the throne of England.
Despite his imperfections, I’m not going to pile on because we might not be where we are today if he had not gone after Michael Cohen.
Figured he’d flame out.
Good.
He has a role and he does what he does well and should stick with it.
Missed a space bar.
Good. He’s as much interested in himself as he is in taking down Trump, which leaves no room for the only actual reason to get into gov’t, to help others.
I do hope he keeps prodding Fat Don, as long as he doesn’t do so hypocritically. As dirty as Donald is, those doing the prodding should be squeaky clean.
I’m not the author.
Indeed, credit is due. I might add that what many view as his main imperfection, his bold ambition, has served us immensely well and was even necessary in these dark times.
Good. One less loud, annoying distraction.
Say it ain’t so Michael! We need to spend more time listening to smart ass lawyers defending porn stars.
Poor Stormy, what’s a slut to do, make more movies, have more kids?
I never believed he was actually going to run. Now, let’s get back to representing lardass’s harem.
Hey, what’s with all the negativity about porn stars? They have to make a living too, and it’s a hell of a lot more of an honest living than working for the Trump administration.
Stormy says he went too far on her behalf.
Stephanie Clifford moved on Wednesday to distance herself from the lawyer Michael Avenatti, saying he had filed a defamation suit against President Trump against her wishes and sometimes spoke on her behalf without her consent.
In a statement provided to The Daily Beast, Ms. Clifford, who is known professionally as Stormy Daniels, alleged that Mr. Avenatti had also repeatedly ignored her requests for accounting information about a legal defense and safety fund that has drawn support from donors; in the meantime, she said, Mr. Avenatti launched another crowdfunding campaign without her knowledge, attributing words to her that she never wrote or said.
He was a very public factor there, but I’ll make you a small friendly wager the FBI was all over him from the dossier days and quite possibly long before. When they raided him it was because they suspected he was destroying evidence, and I doubt they were sifting his garbage to find out. My guess is they were in his devices watching documents go poof and were over there bright and early next day. So while Avenatti snapped the lights on, I think it was overdetermined that he was going down one way or the other.
I think he only wanted to run so he could hide his tax returns…
This douchebag’s only “contribution” so far has been to allow the Republicans to push forward Kavanaugh into the Supreme Court. Rather than representing his clients, he was simply looking to get TV time, and created the foal that the Republicans needed to turn away from the credible allegations by Blassy-Ford. Avenatti was the biggest friend that Mich McConnell ever had, and we will all be paying the price for a long, long time.
Avenatti can not sink fast enough back into the swamp that he came out of…
I would not make that wager. The Mueller/FBI were going to flip him, and there was nothing that Avenatti did that moved the ball in any appreciable way, other than raising Cohen’s prominence.
