Yeah, that stuck out to me, too – I doubt Individual-1 has it in him to be “embarassed”. He makes an ass of himself too often to be “embarassment-averse”… He is a colossal embarassment.
I think what was meant was “criticism-averse” – they want to ensure that nobody gets a chance to say anything negative. He’ll be the ultimate “Bubble Boy”.

There’s no interest in running the country. There never actually has been, at least on Spankee’s side. Spankee has only been interested in, as you so rightly put it, “optics and pagentry.” Everything else is real work, for which he has an abhorrence.
