I use personal technology a lot, but it seems so tempting to become an election Luddite. The problem with having fifty states, each with multiple local election boards, is that elections are often supervised by people with little actual knowledge about voting systems, even while there are enormous amounts of money at stake. It sure sounds like, either for corrupt or nefarious motives, Lundergan Grimes intentionally hired a completely unqualified company to monitor election security.
I think it’s possible that she didn’t intentionally hire an unqualified company. Instead, she was not in a position to determine whether they were qualified.
