In 2015, Hurd voted 96% with his party’s position on roll-call votes. As of January 2018, Hurd had voted with his party in 93% of votes so far in the 115th United States Congress and voted in line with President Trump’s position in 96.6% of votes.

It’s now just dawning on Trump and the GOP that the way they’ve run business for the past 10 years–basically taking the opposite of what the Democrats offer-- is not the way to govern. It takes compromise. And for all the power they had for 2 years (control of all three branches of gov’t) they couldn’t get anything done. No repeal of Obamacare. No better heath care plan. No trade agreement better than NAFTA. And definitely no wall! All they accomplished was a lemon of tax plan (and America is just now discovering in their returns just how much of a lemon it is).

He was so stupid to make such a big deal of this after democrats took control. I guess he thought somehow he could win and try and make himself look tough. Boy did he guess wrong. Hopefully between Ds standing up to him and Mueller finally bringing russian dirt to light we’ll get him out of office asap.
