This article is cribbed from Raw Story. What’s up with that, Caitlin?

Tell your children that this is what it takes to be the President. And the leader of the free world.

I am too old, otherwise I would have made a killing with a chain of charter elementary schools whose main emphasis would have been on how to teach the children to lie, bully, and insult, and get away with anything.

Trump’s $91 billion number is a bit misleading…"

Just a little. He’s only off by $80 billion, give or take a billion.

How this man has managed to not have a coronary or aneurism must certainly be worthy of medical research.

Trump’s $91 billion number is a bit misleading, however,

Let’s be a little more accurate @caitlinmacneal .

Trump Misleads on Aid to Puerto Rico

In all, the federal government has allocated nearly $41 billion, and has obligated about half of it via binding agreements, but as we said, so far just a portion of that — $11.2 billion — has been distributed in Puerto Rico.

To get to the $91 billion figure, a senior administration official told us Trump is including the total allocation for Puerto Rico — $41 billion — plus an estimated $50 billion in future FEMA costs “over the life of the disaster,” which can stretch decades.

And less than half of that $11 billion has been distributed. So $5 billion vs. $91 billion, but who’s counting.

Trump’s $91 billion number is a bit misleading,

I believe the word you’re looking for is lie. Trump is completely lying that we already gave $91 billion as his excuse for not paying the $91 billion. And it doesn’t matter whether or not he believes this lie. When someone says something as fact without verifying if it’s true, they’re lying. Intentional ignorance isn’t an excuse for people to invent their own reality.

Given that so many journalists had their White House press passes pulled who was able to attend this rare press conference by the POTUS?

That’s the kind of substance I expect to see at TPM rather than “crazy things my racist uncle says”. Also, when covering the ranting of a pathological liar, please be prepared to call a lie a lie.

So, to re-cap:

Trump says the Mueller Report is “the bible.”

And Trump is going to use every legal**–and illegal–**trick in the book…
to keep Americans from reading “the bible” because of how it makes him look.

There’s your headline!

His lawyers told him if he released “the bible” it would violate the establishment clause and he swore an oath to “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”
