Discussion: Texas Woman Vaginally Searched In Gas Station Parking Lot, Accuses Deputy Of Constitutional Violation

The professor has performed the calculations, and at 28 grams an ounce, .02 ounces is just a smidge over half a gram. A half-gram joint would be like a toothpick.

“KTRK reported that she was charged with resisting arrest and possession of marijuana, although the television station did not say where the marijuana was allegedly found.”

Where was it found? In the pigs’ glove compartment.

Besides, it doesn’t matter. To use the usual metaphor…albeit an unfortunate one in this context…it was fruit of the forbidden tree. An illegal search cannot yield evidence upon which you can be convicted.

Ironically, I’m pretty sure that the two grams, yes, that’s right, two grams they arrested this woman for after searching her car for an hour and sexually violating her in public came right out of the pocket of one of the two arresting officers.

Professor when you say law suit I hope you mean the police officers have to pay up if found guilty.

Enough to fill a small pipe. Easily small enough for a cop to break from his personal stash without missing it. I/20th of an once of anything but the finest Washington State grown cannabis is not enough to make most people too high to drive.

Yes, and maybe whoever is above them in the chain, too, if it can be shown that they supported / condoned / covered up this kind of behavior…

The medical dispensaries popped up here so fast, over half of them aren’t breaking even. They’re banking on being able to sell recreational weed, which is where the real money is. At least up to an ounce is decriminalized in MA. Texas has a graduated penalty scheme for marijuana possession. For the 1/50th of an ounce the woman was reportedly charged with, she could face up to 6 months in jail and a $2000 fine. And, manual rape, to boot.

When backup arrived, each deputy held one of Corley’s legs apart to conduct the probe.

Rape, pure and simple. Gee, SCOTUS, is this what you meant when you gave law enforcement officers free reign to search a person’s belongs? – Even her vagina and rectum? All of you who voted to allow this sort of interrogative rape should go through what this young lady did – just so you have an idea of what you allowed. What’s good for us is definitely good for you!

What the fuck is America turning into? This police state style activity needs to stop!!

With all due respect to the narrative that this is a crime by white officers to scare communities of minorities, officers in Texas apparently have a history of conducting these cavity searches and white women have been among the victims.

That’s what it is.

I recall that when white women joined black women in the Old Confederate Cities for civil right demonstrations in the 1960s, it was common for them to be subject to cavity searches after arrest as a way of humiliating and degrading them --an extrajudicial punishment. And if their genitals weren’t searched, they were forced to assume grotesque bodily poses for searches. Often, they would be asked if they had any “sugar” for the thugs guarding them. Translation: “Would you care to suck my dick”.

Don’t know if any are reading this blog. If they are, they’ll confirm this.

I cannot find words to convey my contempt for men who do these things. I say that knowing they’re a dime a dozen.

Sheer fucking lunacy.

Damn! I’d take those odds in a heartbeat! This is Texas, remember. Ten to one says Sergeant Dipshit and Deputy Dumbfuck never face any repercussions. I’d be overjoyed to be wrong.

Don’t forget the two FEMALE police officers who performed the actual violation.

Actually, 0.02 ounces is only 0.56 grams. It’s beyond insane.

Indeed. Think of it this way: an 8th is 3.5 grams and usually is only enough, if spread out, to be a finger’s breadth of weed across the bottom of a sammich baggy. This is 1/7th of that amount…like one small nugget.

10 sack, pathetic and unnecessary. How do you smell that little from her vagina though? I mean that’s some inspector gadget smelling device type sense of smell.

But . . . but . . . but . . . she consented! She consented to a body cavity search outdoors, in public. Because, hey, who wouldn’t? Happens all the time. Why, just the other day, a cop pulled me over and asked me if I’d step out of my car, and then we had the following conversation.

Cop: I cannot force you, of course, but would you be willing to consent to dropping trou right here, outdoors, in this parking lot, and letting me ram a couple of fingers up your ass to look for contraband?

Me: Why certainly, old chap, for I have nothing to hide and only the guilty need fear such a search!

Cop: (Donning rubber glove with a snap.) Thank you, citizen, thank you. Now grab your ankles and try to relax. And don’t worry, this is standard police procedure. I do it a dozen times a day. Wait! Is that a gram of weed? No, never mind, my bad! You may go about your business, but you might want to have your doctor check that prostate, for that could be a lump.

Me: Many thanks, officer. No one understands better than I what a difficult, dangerous job you do and the kind of decisions you must make in a split second, so I am happy, even eager to comply with your reasonable demands in your never ending struggle to keep me and all like me safe from the ever present menace of the Assassin of Youth, Marijuana. Which, as Everybody Knows, These Kids Today, and Those People in particular, habitually carry around rammed up into their bodily orifices.

Yeah, it’s perfectly plausible both that they sought her consent and that she gave it. Because, hey, nothing very odd about this story at all.

You’d think every pot smoker in Colorado would be rallying around this woman. Hello? Maybe they’re just too stoned to care
Maybe we can get Megyn Kelly’s attention. Surely she’d be willing to take up this cause. Megyn, is Ms. Corley not a woman?

I want them to lose their jobs, be barred (for life) from any type of employment such as law enforcement, security guard, airport TSA, etc. – anything that requires weapons or allows access to weapons. Also, they need to be forced to go through the exact kind of cavity search they forced on this lady. Each person involved–even those who assisted in any type of cover-up–is to pay this lady a minimum sum of $10K. The police department, if found culpable must do the same. Any monies this lady receives from this incident will not be subject to taxes of any kind.
