âI apologized to the appropriate people.â â and those would be?
âŚthe post âwas not directed at any ⌠group.â
You mean, other than those ni(CLANG).
My favorite quote: âthe post âwas not directed at any one person or group.ââ
Thatâs after saying that âthe blacksâ might need to be resegregated so that âinnoncentâ people wonât get hurt. Which is to say that blacks are by definition guilty and whites are innocent. Post-racial society my ass.
Why do people always come out and make apologies when they meant what they are apologizing for?
Her hashtags are quite telling. I am reading people who are, once again, saying this is her First Admendment right. That seems to be their go to comment whenever someone says something indefensibly stupid.
She should be fired. How can she teach a class that contains children of all races? Her salary is paid by taxpayers of all races. Even though she claims that she is ânotaracistâ her words tell a different story.
You know, I think many of these people think they have a right to their opinion with no repructions for shouting it with a position requiring them to accept diversity and so onâŚif you do not have something nice to say you probably should not post about it.
Too many people seem to think that speech has no consequences, that they are free to say what they want and others must listen to them.
Those same people have no clue what the First Amendment means. Same for the Second Amendment. Neither of which they have ever read of course.
Dunno, but rest assured that theyâre white.
âI have the right to say what I want, and you donât have the right to say anything back!â
Line 'em up, knock 'em down.
It demonstrates again how powerful and tightly sealed the right-wing information bubble is when a public school teacher thinks she can advocate segregation and not lose her job. I worked with educators for a long time, know the culture fairly well, and it just astonishes me that she thought she could get away with that. Toxic, toxic stuff that Fox et al. are pumping out there.
Sheâll be teaching in a charter school next fall.
"Maybe the 50s and 60s were really on to something. Now, let the bashing of my true and honest opinion begin....GO! #imnotracist #imsickofthemcausingtrouble #itwasatagedcommunity."
Ooopsie! Forgot the hashtag #NonSilbaSedAnthar.
Iâve always thought that Americans confuse âhate speechâ and âfree speechâ and feel that they are one in the same. In fact, theyâre not but in this country, many believe that their verbalizing hateful views of any group is ârightâ and therefore ties into their right to âfree speech.â Itâs just all kinds of messed up.
I think she had a typo. Lets fix it for her: notorious racist
Maybe the 50s and 60s were really on to something.
I wish there was a country called â50"s and 60âsâ that we could send these people to because they donât fit in here now.
NewReality:
When you gulp the Fox News Kool-Aid?
You can lose your job.
Itâs that toxic.
