So I’m confused, is Texas appealing the agreement, the original ruling or just being Texass?
The title of the original TPM article was ‘Judge Orders Do-Over After Texas Misleads Voters on Voter ID Law’. I’m of the opinion that there should be a do-over of everything that has happened in that state since they rejected Anne Richards in favor of George W. Shitforbrains.

This completely anti-democratic move Is just a reflection the complete hijack of state governments by the Koch brothers and their plutocratic and elitist brethren. Note to you guys with flag pins: the system is supposed to work by having discriminatory laws thrown out by the courts. Even minorities and people who may not vote for you have a right to vote. You can’t limit that right, guaranteed by the Constitution, because of the vanishingly rare instance of voter fraud. Just like you can’t make it difficult or impossible for someone to exercise their right to free speech because a few nut cases abuse it that right. We done now?

I imagine the way things are with SCOTUS these days, they’re going to tell Abbot, in so many words, to go fuck himself that the 5th Circuit’s decision stands, just like they told the other more corrupt than Beelzebub, Texas fuckwad and moral cretin Tom Delay, when he appealed to SCOTUS to save poor Terry Schiavo, who was repeatedly diagnosed as being brain dead by multiple ultra qualified neurosurgeons, who all concurred that their was nothing left but the brain stem. I think that’s all that’s left of stinkin Greg Abbot’s brain too. All the rest turned to jelly like poor Terry’s. Sad. Very sad. The petition will ask the Court to give full weight to Scalia’s vote supporting the Texas law. The real Americans in Texas should not be punished for Obama’s failure to nominate a replacement justice who is acceptable to the Freedom Caucus.
The 5th circuit is overseen by Thomas. He could issue an injunction until the full court could offer a decision, effectively running out the clock for Abbot and his cronies. Don’t be shocked if this happens - it’s what Ginny would want…
