Save Austin, Texas remains the largest sewer of the nation.
I thought you just claimed something made you a better person?

said that the President was âtrying to cram down as many parts of his liberal agenda on the United States of America as he possibly can.â
Ummmmmmm⌠itâs called an âelectionâ, where the person who wins takes that as an endorsement of their politics, policies and programs. This is the same reason why anyone gives a shit youâre complaining about liberals, because a group of ignorant assholes in Texas endorsed your stupid narrow-mindedness.
The Governor of Texas Hath Twatted
Charlotte, SC passed a local law outlawing one type of discrimination locally and the SC state government overruled it. So much for local control. How can SC state govât then cry foul when theyâre overruled by the federal govât?
Thatâs a helluva pic of Greggie. I donât know if he looks like a hapless, mentally-challenged Goob about to be run down by a speeding vehicle or a âDoctor Whoâ villain. Or perhaps heâs a âDoctor Whoâ villain about to be cut down by Betsy, piloted by Jon Pertwee. Either way, he (it) appears to be dangerously insane.
I prefer my wedges to be made of cheese. This Guvâs got a âwedgieâ in his brain, it would seem.
The White House sent a letter last week to public schools across the country directing them to allow transgender students to use the bathroom of their choice.
Conservatives railed against Obamaâs letter, including Abbott, who said that the President was âtrying to cram down as many parts of his liberal agenda on the United States of America as he possibly can.â
A little fact-checking:
- The letters came from the Department of Justice and the Department of Education.
- The letter from DoEd was signed by Secretary King.
- The letter from Justice was signed by Attorney General Lynch.
- The letters were not signed by President Obama.
Did the President approve of the contents? Almost certainly. Did the President write the policy and the advisory? Almost certainly not.
In fairness, look at his photo. The poor Governor appears to be chronically constipated.
No wonder heâs always thinking about the bathroom, and as Freud would say, his thinking so retrograde.
âThe Transgenders are coming! The Transgenders are coming!â
If the ADA wasnât the law of the land, you (Abbott) wouldnât be able to do squat with your wheelchair!
What he said represents more about the Texas citizen/voter than anything. Politicians only say what they want their voters to hear or support what they know.
Sort of sad coming from a guy who belongs to a group that had to fight for legislation assuring they have appropriate bathroom accommodations.
And what did his fellow Republican senators do on the 25th anniversary of the ADA? They failed to ratified the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Each and every senator had to pass Bob Dole sitting in his wheel chair to go and vote no. What a slap in the face to Dole.
The critical tweets shown here seem to miss the point. The typical GOPer hears âtransgenderâ and thinks âdude in a dressâ, and their fearful nature instantly leads them to believe that child-predatory men are going to put on dresses â or just wear their regular clothes â and hang out in womenâs restrooms creeping for victims and that somehow this is plausible and/or legal.
I donât find the governorâs tweet at all bizarre â itâs exactly in line with the prevailing GOP view of the issue.
Abbott knows his state and his region. Hollering âNevuh!â wins you votes in Dixie. Jesse Helms, who never lost an election in North Carolina, could tell you something about that, too.
But, but, but, but, but, butâŚ
It is fear that drives the GOPers when confronted by LBGT people.
Fear
It is more than likely that when Abbott shared a public bathroom that there were gay men in that bathroom at some point or another. And Abbott didnât know it since the other person was there simply to pee or poop. Oddly it always seems to be republicans that have bathroom problems anyway.
This guy didnât get elected for his smarts or his common sense approach.
Heâs a flame thrower with a disability. Itâs like, we all should have a little pity for this idiot.
