Discussion: Texas Guns On Campus Law Takes Effect Monday

Happy Gold Anniversary UT! Congratulations.

“Dorm residents can have guns in common areas, such as dining areas and lounges, but not sleeping rooms”

and where do they keep them when they’re asleep?

More sick shit from a sick messed up state with an equally messed up legislature. Interesting that private colleges and universities can opt out but not public universities and colleges. Also that a student at one university can have a gun in the common areas but can’t in their dorm rooms or store the firearm in their dorm room. So where is that person going to store it? In their car? Behind the bushes outside their dorms? What a fucking mess. What a sick gun culture. And if a professor says you can’t come into their office with a gun, what’s he/she gonna do? Frisk them first and then get charged for inappropriate touching or illegal search and seizure? I don’t get this…at all. Its insane, but then again, its Texass.
