I bet if he digs around in a closet somewhere he can find some bootstraps.

Shorter GOP in TX: When will Obama come and save me? I need to legislate smaller government and absolutely no regulation.

Did he happen to vote against sandy hurricane funding? Hope he and his family are safe in any case.

So he had an upcoming Town Hall meeting scheduled, eh? When that date passes he’ll be showing up next to Osteen the next day praising the Lord for his “miraculous escape”.

He’s fine, because climate change is nothing but fake news invented by greedy scientists. Therefore the water around his house is not real.

Now, if he was a US Rep in Texas, he´d be able to find dry ground, ´cos those districts usually are gerrymandered over at least 6 ecozones.

Jesus was born in a manger, basically a shed. Osteen is reported to live in a house valued at over $10M. If, as the leader of a church that follows (and is supposed to follow the example of) Jesus Christ, how does Osteen reconcile that to himself and his parishioners?

The local food bank is getting in donations for the flood victims. My hands are sore from sorting cans all morning there and getting pallets ready to ship. It’s a good place to help out. Check your local radio or newspaper for details. Along with food and diapers, they can make very good use of money. They can use cash donations to buy subsidized commodities and fuel to move the donations down the road.

Sure is a good thing there’s no such thing as climate change and sea level rise, or those grandchildren would grow up to curse his name for the votes he’s cast.

Not to suggest karma is in play here, but…

Doesn’t he want government shrunk to the size where it can fit into a flood zone?

What’s the problem? God promised Noah he would never destroy the Earth again.

It’s called the gospel of prosperity. Their god wants them to be wildly successful and not use the money to help anyone but themselves. Or something like that. Very Christlike.

For sure, it is the Gospel of IGM, FY. It is one of the “later” Gospels.

At least he didn’t use his office to get special help for him and his family. Let’s give him credit for that.
