TX rednecks must be having strokes over this picture. Slow social change drives them nuts. Radical change like this must make them apoplectic.

Damn right. Only 150 years after the Emancipation Proclamation.

It’s nice to see an article on TPM that Texas has in the headline in, that doesn’t require me to cringe, facepalm, or generally try and deny that I live in Central Texas. Great photo!

Good. Now Houston residents will get to see Black judges can mete out white ruling class law and order just as well as white judges can, just as they and most Black cops do elsewhere.

Me too!

But this one always warms my cockles:

Grand picture - and cool attitude. Brava!

They rode the Blue wave and excitement that neeeearly took Beto to the Senate and we will all be better for it. It’s an outstanding change in the judiciary in Harris County!

It was very different at the downtown Harris County Courthouse this morning. In the Court I was in,the new judge didn’t even have a key to his chambers yet when he came to work this morning. We had this kind of judicial turnover in 2008 too.

Literally changing the face of justice in TX.

Go Girls !
( Now is The Moron going to say that black magic WAS used to get these Judges elected - will he have his usual tantrum ? ) .

This must scald the soul of every racist deplorable who Trump proudly calls his supporter. Good.
