Oh, FFS. How transparent can you get?

Just unreal.

OK so Doc, what conclusion might you draw from this? Let’s brainstorm a little about how you could respond, what choices you might want to make.

“doesn’t stand up against those who want to discriminate against others.”

That would be a platform item. Hard to get ride of that one. Otherwise they would not be Republican as we know it today.

Next the Republican party will institute a religion test. Muslims and Unitarians need not apply. Jews are a little Iffy.

““Where does the discrimination end?”

It doesn’t. Get a fucking clue, lady.

Lisa Grimaldi Abdulkareem, the precinct chairwoman who’s married to a Muslim, told the Star-Telegram that it will be the downfall of the Republican Party if it “doesn’t stand up against those who want to discriminate against others.”

“Where does the discrimination end? I believe people need to speak up loudly and let the few know that this is not right and it won’t be tolerated,” she said.

I think that train left that station quite some time ago… As the saying goes, “‘I never thought leopards would eat MY face,’ sobs woman who voted for the Leopards Eating People’s Faces Party.”

Just take a look at the Texas Republican Party platform. It reads like a John Bircher pamphlet from the 60’s the only part added is the misplaced fear of Shariah law.

"Shafi counters that he supports American laws and the court system, and says he has no affiliation to ‘any terrorist organization’…”

“…other than the GOP.”

Maybe Dr. Shafi will figure out who his REAL friends are.

Of course, none of these upstanding members of their communities should have any problem with publicly confirming that they put the laws of the US above the laws of the Christian God, then?

The Republicans should realize that Methodists are also a danger and Presbyterians are a little too radical. And even among the Baptists, you can’t be too careful. Some Baptists you can’t trust. Let’s get the Texas GOP down to the size they can meet in a 737 bathroom.

Why can’t he just say he is adamantly for the separation of church and state? Oh right.

This is what statisticians call “regression toward the mean.”

In every sense of those terms.

It’s like the white Christian nationalist GOPers, in their infinitely infantile mentality, think if they can just shout “roll over, roll over” enough times, they can kick everyone else out of the bed and enjoy it all for themselves. They just don’t realize that’s when everyone else gets together and goes Burning Bed on their ass.
