Thank fucking god
Ditto.
Fucking hell, I can start breathing again.
Now if just a little more people voted in AZ and FL this would of been a pretty good night overall. But of course, we just seem to fall just short repeatedly.
I’m chanting “tax returns, tax returns”. I asked my friend who used to work for Trump if the returns would show the Russian crimes, and she said no, it would just show his income scams, and that he never paid any taxes. I’m good with that. Leave Russia to Mueller, she said…
Hear ya, but let’s be grateful for what we got.
Boom!
“a heavy Maryland accent”… I am wondering what that is, the B’More “hon” or the Tilghman Island Olde English? Now I need to hear him speak.
Edited: OK, just watched one of his ads, which was on the top 5 worst campaign ads for RollCall. It’s a Balmore accent.
Sweet. Plus, Trump will throw a tantrum, which is a nice added bonus. Tester should send Trump a huge bouquet of flowers with a thank-you note for visiting the state so often and driving Montana voters to turn out and vote for the Dem.
When asked about the Battle of Waterloo, Wellington replied “It was a close run thing”…
I can’t think of a better way to put it…
Aren’t you supposed to capitalize the f, out of respect?
Donnie made it very personal with Tester and Manchin. Do not think he can look to them for support. Not that he needs it with the current lineup in the Senate. But still must sting to get that involved and have your pee-pee slammed in the door. Twice :).
As to AZ thank the Green.
The Dems did a great job in both states, especially compared to past midterms. Trumpp turned his people out, and voter suppression did the rest. What the election revealed, though, is that his reach is both limited and shrinking.
The midterms showed an energized Democratic party that won’t have to be woken up from hibernation for the next Presidential election. We also have been issued a warning that just turning out our voters won’t be enough in 2020.
the greens (bankrolled by outside conservative groups) tried the same shit here in Montana. Fortunately they got tossed from the senate ballot due to glaring irregularities on the signature petitions. Had the green candidate not been tossed, Tester could not have won (IMHO).
Tester’s advantage: Don Jr was making appearances for the republican candidate.
I hope, he remebered to thank Don Jr and Kimberley ?
