Rather, Christians that are armed should be serious.

Right.

Because the central message of the beatitudes was “If you wanna be right with god, you gotta be packin’ heat!”

Yes, it’s better to have a gun and not need it…unless having a gun means you accidentally kill someone or you get mad and use it in anger at the wrong time; which is far more likely than you needing a gun and not having it. But pro-gun people aren’t even allowed to contemplate those two scenarios, since it undermines their arguments entirely.

Seriously, I don’t know how many times I’ve debated with pro-gun people who refuse to even acknowledge that they might shoot someone by mistake, despite how often it happens. And so every single time a gun is used for a good purpose gets magnified by a thousand, while the more frequent times of guns being used for bad purposes shouldn’t even be talked about. And so they firmly believe that the reason we want their guns is because we’re evil and not because we care about safety, because that’s all they’ve got.

…while actual faith-hearted Christians arm themselves with the Holy Spirit.

I’ve seen people of all faiths get irrationally angry on the road. These people should not have guns.

Does every “believer” have shit for brains or does it just seem like it?

It’s “turn the other cheek,” not “load another round,” dumbass.

So, if everyone in the classroom had a gun and each fired their gun at the perpetrator at the same time, how many will get killed?

I thought all “True Christians ®” should await the Rapture meekly with hands clasped and heads bowed in prayer.
Or they should welcome their “chance” to meet Jesus face-to-face and obtain their “gift” of immortality?
Only the followers of the “Rambo-Jesus” (and thus HERETICS) would take up arms to “defend their faith”.
Did not Jesus say “Turn the other cheek”? “Love thy enemies”?, “Render unto Ceasar…”? etc.?
Of course, this has NOTHING to do with faith and religion and is all about this scoundrel’s personal pursuit of POWER and how well he can “play the rubes” for his own personal gain.
When it comes to Fundamentalist Religion: You just can’t cure Stupid.

This sounds like one of those trick SAT questions…

Because if there is one thing that Christ advocated, it is violence.

Serious about what?

Ron Ramsay constantly embarrasses us Tennesseans, and this is just run-of-the-mill right-wing bullshit from a major source of right-wing bullshit.

It is impossible to overstate the High Derpitude evident in everything Ramsay says or does.

Most likely to kill a family member. Christianity is going the way of Islam.

Pshhh, swords got noting. (Unless it’s a light saber. Those are cool.) If Jesus had known about gunpowder, I’m sure his entire life message would have been different.
