Total bollocks , in which case hope his mother gets to spend a long time in jail .
They ought to lock BOTH his parents up as well. He was driving his dad’s truck, he was living unsupervised in a house by himself. Basically he was left to run wild, what did they think was going to happen.
Not to worry. In prison, everyone gets a laptop and free wifi, plus you get to play Ultimate Frisbee during recess in the “Yard,” and afterward, milk and cookies will be delivered to your cell.
Not nearly enough time for four deaths, especially after his refusal to even comply with probation. 10-20 years would make more sense and 10 for the parents for neglect and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. But hey! Its Texas and they’re rich, so don’t push it.
Seeing that look on his face makes me hope he gets roughed up at least a little in prison. Which I know is wrong. And yet.
That’s it??? Affluenza sure runs deep in our criminal justice system when it comes to sentencing this manipulative little prick, part deux. Lemme guess, the sentencing judge in this case has his own feelings about privileged white defendants getting to much hard time for multiple murder. Wow…just wow.
And hide the sausage at night?
Is it just me, or does he look like Martin Shkreli’s little brother?
They both have a severe case of Backpfeifengesicht.
Compare this to drunk driver Rashad Owens, was sentenced to life after he killed 4 people in a car crash.
OK, I had to look that one up - my high school German wasn’t quite up to it. But yeah, I think that’s it.
I get tired of having to point this out: The judge in juvenile court gave him probation exactly because that extended state supervision past his 18th birthday. If he had been sentenced to juvenile detention, he would already be out free and without supervision.
THIS IS THE MOST HARSH PENALTY HE COULD HAVE WHILE TRIED AS A JUVENILE.
Comparing this sentence to that received by a person tried as an adult is simply apples and oranges.
Affluenza. Sounds like the kid would have a job waiting with The Rump 2016 campaign if he got out of jail in time. This is almost certainly The Rump’s son’s and daughter’s excuse for failure to register to vote on time, unless Daddy has since decided that primary elections are also rigged.
Yes! Two years in big boy prison.
You’re going to love love love it, you miserably little shit.
Holy cow! All we need is for this family to turn up in the Panama Papers and, by gosh, I think you have James Bind’s next arch-villain.
Really? I could swear I see regular stories about Kid X being “tried as an adult”.
Well he’s still getting very preferential treatment. Kill a bunch folks, violate probation for doing so and then flee the country. 2 Years. You do it and see if you get that deal. The brother of a girlfriend I had years ago drove drunk ( also very spoiled ) 3 years ago and killed a 12 year old girl and caused another women in that car to lose a baby still in the womb. He got 33 years, which at age 53 is life.
Two years is NOTHING, I’ve seen people get more time for violating probation where the underlying crime didn’t result in death.
@redstatewelfarequeen Yes, but those were fatherless black men and/or Mexican rapists and drug dealers!
