Discussion for article #239963

I see.

Since it’s YOUR spawn they’re targeting you see the logic in citizenship as it relates to birth parents?

Maybe you should spread the word asshole.

Does a lot to support the idea that buffoonery is genetic.

Well, well, hurt much, Rafael? People question the citizenship of your Cubanadian son and you take offense. Where was your outrage when Obama’s citizenship was being questioned left and right? Hypocrite!

The Naturalization Act of 1790 states quite clearly: a child born of a U.S.-born mother anywhere in the world is a U.S. citizen by birth and therefore a natural-born citizen

Shocker: the senior Cruz is a liar by omission. There are additional requirements, which have changed over time. At the time Cruz was (supposedly) born, his mother would have to have been resident in the U.S. for ten years, five after the age of 14. Where is the proof of this residency?

"Don’t let yourself be misguided by erroneous information,” he told the audience

“I’ll be happy to misguide you with erroneous information myself and save you the trouble,” he went on to say.

National Federation of Republican Assemblies? This nut job is being paid to speak and be an “authority” on this or any subject…

Maybe Trump could send some investigators to find out?

He should also make sure that they do maternity testing since the law also requires that the U.S. Parent be the genetic or gestational parent. This is not a gimme since both parents had alcohol problems and by the time Ted was three were are such odds that Cruz senior left the family.

It only applies if you’re African-American. Remember?

If there was any validity to this issue, you’d see 20 or 30 articles written in the newspapers trying to tear him down. … They know they can’t go there.”

Nah.

Nobody cares, because the guy hasn’t the chance of a fart in a windstorm to being relevant for this or any other national level election.

BTW, sir? Your bias is showing. Don’t I recall you being on the birther wagon when it was a Democrat in the position? No double standards, sir. Especially as a man of the cloth.

Depends who you ask. Clearly applies to Messicans if you ask Trump. Or to Asians if you ask John Ellis Bush. And to Canadians if you ask Walker. And to everybody not named Bobby if you ask Jindal.

Of the hundreds, if not thousands of things that disqualify Ted Cruz from the presidency, citizenship isn’t one of them.

TPM:

Cruz’s Dad Has Some Words For The Birthers: You’re Wrong About My Son

… said a Cuban immigrant of questionable legality, about his son born in not-the-USA.

And where is her long-form birth certificate showing any evidence of being born in AMERICA?!?!

If the old man is concerned, there probably is something shady about Senator Cruz’s birth. Maybe the Senator’s mother had renounced her citizenship in the US to get Father Cruz a green card in Canada?

The Dad is even dumber than the Son. In any case, the Cuban Canadian doesn’t stand a chance. Maybe he can be Trump’s VP. But even Trump wouldn’t be that dumb.
