It’s a bold, brash, Trump-like best-seller list…

The man’s a horrible whiner- don’t give it to him!
TPM needs to cover that dude’s image with a black box and a warning that only allows the image to be displayed when clicked on. Every time I see his image, I get seriously ill.
A Cruz spokesperson said Wednesday that the events should “concern any author”
Or any ghostwriter.
Because if history teaches us nothing else, it teaches that the right ceases it’s relentless ref working when the Times cravenly caves to them.
Who cares? He’s not going to be president and his books will end up in the $1 bin, where they will collect dust until they get recycled, preferably into softer toilet paper.
Why is on the nonfiction list?
If you reward a child every time they cry you will get a child who cries every time they want a reward.
Except for Krugman, haven’t paid any attention to the NYT since the run-up to the Iraq War. Even Mrs Von Holst, who treats the world with far more equanimity than I, has switched to The Guardian.
Finding “no evidence” is not the same thing as there being none. I find it difficult to believe Cruz’s folks didn’t manipulate this mess. It’s important they portray their folks as popular…and that’s why all the fuss. One way or the other this guys book was going to get on that list.
…and how many Conservatives read the NYT?
This is why I can’t stand what’s become of the NYT. A little rightwing whining and bad-mouthing from the right, and they find ways to cave.
The NYT hasn’t been much of a bastion of liberal thought, or even a real promoter of liberal minded expose’ for a long time, with the exception of a few well known columnists. It used to be a rather progressive paper but I haven’t seen or felt that since Bush got us into two fucking wars and tanked the economy. And its just as hawkish as most of the GOP base when it comes to matters of war and peace, especially as it relates to Middle-east conflict. Its executive hierarchy seems to support rightwing stupidity as much as any other wingnut partisan news source these days. It competes with the WSJ when it comes to political hackery, particularly since Rupert Murdoch took over that publication.
I can already anticipate all their stupid and accusatory articles on Hillary when the campaign gets closer to election time…which they’ve always been more than a little obsessed with over the years. Its gonna be a verrrry long election season.
See, no matter what your mother says, whining does help…well if you a Conservative it helps.
NYT BestBullShitterList.
Go set a watchman, pendejo.
Reminds me of a line from “The Distinguished Gentleman”: “I even bought 1,000 copies of your goddamn boring book!”
Although it’s quite possible that lots of wingnuts actually bought the thing in the past several days, to “stick it to the Times!” But yeah…
The Republican Party should have no more than 10%-15% of the vote.
For any office
At any time
Anywhere
That is the outside limit of the percentage of the population which could possibly significantly benefit (in the immediate sense, assuming the Planet is not irreparably harmed) from what the Republicans have to offer (I am basing this percentage on information from Social Stratification data).
Those (poorer and thus misguided) individuals not included in the above who nevertheless vote Republican are numerous enough to make elections interesting.
They number in the tens upon tens of millions.
Colouring books, connect the dots books, porno books, romance novels, whatever…
There are enough Lost Souls to make any of the above kinds of books (including Cruz’ Third Grade Book) “best sellers”.
Whether Cruz and his Crew whine about anything
Whether Cruz’ book is bought by bulk or not
Whether the NY Times has slipped (and I believe it HAS) or not
