A few minutes I heard political analyst Ben Ginsberg talking about the Republican Party needing to find its “moral compass.”
The Republican Party has a moral compass? Ted Cruz has a moral compass? You’ve got to be kidding!
Is there a way for Republicans to prevent him from being the nominee still? This is the type of situation that super delegates would be useful for.
If Sanders helps unify the party after Tuesday, we could see the polls move pretty dramatically in Clinton’s favor and Republicans would really start to panic.
Instead of, or in addition to, keeping track of republicans supporting Trumpster, I think we need a running tally of the adjectives those “supporters” are using to criticize his attack on Curiel.
I’m sure “inappropriate” has already been used, Ted. Come on. Be creative!
When Trump loses, the only people in the GOP who will have credibility left are those who wisely didn’t support him. The smartest move Cruz could make would be to condemn Trump and state that the man doesn’t deserve his or anyone’s support – but honestly, I hope he does the wrong thing and endorses him. Let them all go down together.
