Discussion: Ted Cruz Trolls Dempsey And Hagel: Not Our Job To Expand Medicare In Iraq

Because going after the Army worked out so well for his ideological godfather Tailgunner Joe.

If a US senator had used this kind of language in the run up to Bush’s 2003 invasion of Iraq, they would have been labeled unpatriotic, unAmerican, and traitor.

Since no one else seems to want to say it, I will:

Cruz is behaving in an unpatriotic, unAmerican, and traitorous manner.

My memory must be going on me. Didn’t we just put “boots on the ground” in a country called Iraq or something? If I recall correctly, we were there for about 10 years initially to topple Saddam, then morphing into a mission to destroy Al Qaeda, and it didn’t work out very well.

But this time will be different. We’ll go in there again, be greeted like liberators, and the whole thing will be over in a few weeks. Is that right, Ted?

Yeah I know about Joe’s combat and it is likely the cause of his alcohol use/abuse. But I was merely referring to appearances and doing it in a snarky sort of way. Content of what each stood/stands for is a whole 'nother rant.

To answer your question, yes. lol Cruz is quickly taking over the roles of McCain and Graham in foreign policy, leader of the House, speaker of the Senate and de facto President.

“The Sam Peckinpah combative model: Peckinpah’s films generally dealt with the conflict between values and ideals. His characters were often loners or losers who desire to be honorable,”

Here’s some Republican social work we did in Iraq. Of course because it was done by a republican it’s OK.

Some famous person said religion was an opium, which may apply here.

Ted Cruz is beloved at Free Republic so is the Palin crew therefore; I can draw the conclusion they are buffoons before I read a single word they have spoken/written.

Ted Cruz is the perfect Negative Barometer:
Whatever he is for is a BAD IDEA.
Whatever he is against is a GOOD IDEA.
This concept has not failed yet…

If only Carnival Cruise were smart enough to realize that the original MILITARY invasion of Iraq was completed in less than 60 days.

The entire rest of the 10 year adventure was spent dealing purely with the “social” issues the original invasion created - and hadn’t planned for.

Hey, hey, HEY, Teen. You’re talking about MY commander-in-chief, there!

Ted Cruz has already proven that again and again that he’s one of the greatest military leaders of ALL-TIME. What do these libtard, sissyfied, “social”-ist generals know about warfare compared to the Lone State Napoleon?

OMG, They look just alike. Scary!!

Looking that way and making wild, baseless accusations must be genetically related somehow.

Weeellll,… they do have a certain political membership in common and they were/are both Senators.

Bosco, What Eustace does is called parody. Do look up “Poe’s Law” for an explanation. Eustace is TPM’s master at parody and known for his snark and is well respected 'round these parts.
