Rubio: I am glad Cruz also feels that Senate is dysfunctional and nothing can be accomplished unless you are POTUS. I hope he will attend when I am POTUS.

Out of the frame: Drama Club Teddy’s jazz hands!

Oh, Lordy Jesus, what will we do now?

According to his spokesman, Cruz’s absence is “not a snub,” but just a scheduling issue in a bustling presidential cycle. Cruz will forgo the State of the Union to campaign in New Hampshire, where polls show him fighting hard for second place.

Bullshit. It’s a 90 minute flight, Teddy. Stop lying to the American people. The least you can do is man up and own your snub.

Cruz: I need to be in Canada and dig up my long form birth certificate.

I’m surprised any of the GOP bothers to go, they gave up on doing their job about 7 years ago.

This is a good thing. I imagine if he was there, the TV news would keep cutting to his reaction. I don’t want to see his hideous face when I am appreciating our President.

Sounds like the opposite of his ad now playing in NH, criticizing Rubio–“There was a high-level government briefing, but Cruz wasn’t there…He was off trying to get elected to a different job than the one he was elected to do.”
