Does anyone seriously believe, with California and New York and Pennsylvania still in play, that Trump still can’t pull it off?
Sure, this doesn’t help prevent a brokered convention, where Ryan may end up the sacrifice on the altar of the national election, but Trump still has a significant lead and it is not going anywhere on the basis of Wisconsin.
Contested election here we go. And Trump didn’t even set up an event for this evening in Wisconsin—anticipated a schlonging, I suppose. Sleep well, genius. : )
A. His post-win speech is so bizarre…the cadence is so unnatural. Will someone please do a parody of this? PLEASE?
B. I think that it is less the Trump Anti-Cruz camp we need to look at and rather the Ryan-Koch Brothers Anti-Cruz (pro-Koch) camp… they are starting to pull some dirty tricks and this weird DC Madam whisper scandal smells more like Kenneth Starr DC establishment sleaze than Trump sleaze. I don’t see Cruz as a sexual person…(aka a person who has sex other than for procreation)…maybe he is a secret horndog…and I cannot stand him…but this feels like a smear to me. And a DC smear not a Trump smear.

I think Quentin Tarantino should direct, write and star in the Ted Cruz story…
It makes his path much narrower. And as much as he’s defied gravity, gravity is more and more asserting itself. The inescapable fact is that he’s just not good at this. He’s been unbelievably lucky, but luck is famous for not lasting forever. And he doesn’t do well under pressure. He can still get the nomination, of course, because anything’s possible. But this really, really doesn’t help.
Well, since I answered it over there, I will answer it here too for their side.
This is shaping up to a be huge win for Cruz, and while its looking like he beat all the polls, I am not that surprised. I have been thinking that Trump has hit his ceiling for awhile now.
A big win for Cruz,given the size I am seeing coming in, will make Trump’s math much more difficult. And, I expect, he is going to be struggling with every state going forward. Policy positions as the new gimmick is NOT going to help in his case, it will make things exponentially worse…because now he will have things written down.
Similar disturbing faces, somewhat similar personalities, I think you got a good idea there. I think I will work up a treatment.
Now wait jest a dang minute here… Didn’t ol’ Trumpster say on another thread that he was “number one” in all categories?? Then…how could the poor besotted man lose?? I am depressed. A major ego loss and an offer to nix a nonexistent federal agency all in the same day. Plus he tried to walk back his two previous …or was it three… walk backs on abortion.
