On some level, whether one agrees or disagrees with a Presidential candidate’s policy prescriptions, they have to be “likable” as a person. Cruz has a strange combination of intelligence and emotional stupidity. I’ve always thought he was creepy and this news piece proves it even further. Call me crazy, call me foolish, I just don’t want a creepy President!!!

this guy should have no problem getting the GOP nomination, he is shameless about pushing all the teabagger buttons, but he has made so many enemies among his colleagues that the rest of the field would have to self-destruct (before Cruz does) for him to get the nod.

But he would flame out big-time with the national media spotlight. Hillary would win in a landslide. I can only wonder what goods there might be out there on this guy. Please, goddess, let there be another “47%ers” video of Cruz.

Cruz apparently has not changed much with age. This is a man incapable of LISTENING. Listening requires a capacity for empathy – which is essential in any kind of negotiation. This is why he has been such a complete failure as a legislator. So now he wants to fulfill what he sees as his destiny – but even the president has to be able to listen and work cooperatively.

The most interesting part is when he refers to himself as Cuban. Aren’t conservatives always talking about how immigrants refuse to assimilate and “hyphenate themselves”. Well this Canadian transplant considers himself as a cuban. Imagine if Obama called himself a Kenyan. But it’s o.k as long as you’re white. All sins are forgiven to white men and republicans. Canadian, Cuban, fake American, obvious lunatic. All’s good as long as you’re the right shade.
