Is it really so hard to just say, “While I disagree with the President on many issues, I believe he loves our country and is a loyal American”. It would give them a veneer of respectability and class; two things they sorely lack.

To me the real question is does Ted Cruz love Canada?
The focus groups are still out in that one.
Most Cubanadians are pretty cool. They combine great Cuban sandwiches and Cuban music with that unfailing politeness for which Canadians are known the world over.
