Speaking of bad jokes: Ted Cruz.

Problem is he really didn’t mean it as a joke just more fear mongering from the hide under your bed and wet your pants party

Typical GOTP attempt at humor results in the usual colossal fail.

Sometimes these morons should just leave their heads up their asses rather than pulling them out and saying something stupid, again.

RAFAEL Cruz!!!

These guys are so lame and sophomoric. His boss wants to play in the big time? Then he’d better class up and smarten up. Truly pathetic.

Before Ted Cruz, there had not been quite such a Neanderthal tent-preacher moron in the Senate

No, he meant it. It reads like everything else they put out. Someone on that side must’ve busted them on it.

There was no ebola in Texas until they elected Cruz.

Oops…did I say that!!!

More likely, Muzin has no understanding of the concept of sarcasm.

I’m trying so hard, but the only way this is a joke is as mockery of rightwing crazy people. So, are Ted Cruz and his ilk engaged in some ironic performance art?

If someone wrote something like that in the TPM forum it would be immediately sensed as Snark, making an exaggerated reference to RWNJ ranting. However when it comes from an actual RWNJ, it can be hard to tell. Is it really more outrageous than some of the other “talking points” that these guys come up with?

YOu are obviously forgetting Cruz’ role model, Tailgunner Joe McCarthy, the Republican drunk from Wisconsin in the 1950s.

Well done.

Lead us NOT into the valley of darkness and stupidity.

I can’t see Ted Cruz as a joke, even a bad joke. He is an example of runaway Narcissism grown monstrously large. He has a combination of Texas-sized ego-mania and Texas-sized derangement.

This is a dangerous man to put in the public eye and give a leadership role. It is bound to end like any horror movie–with those who bear witness utterly terrified, cringing and shaken to the core.

Oh, and ‘blessed are the Cheesemakers’.
