President Donald Trump’s reelection team has swarmed to Pennsylvania, acutely worried about winning back the purple state, an effort made more difficult by significant Democratic inroads in and around the midterms and that’s helmed by a dysfunctional state party.
Because there’s nothing like flop sweat to attract voters who have decided that you are a loser and a menace.
Bring your best game, you mangy carpetbaggers, because if you thought '18 was bad just wait. We are gonna light you up.
sounds like vlad has his work cut out for him, he’ll be needing a few more favors from the abomination this time around.
Maybe they’ll run into Joe Biden in Pittsburgh next Monday. They probably ought to send a team to Iowa too. I have a good feeling about Iowa in 2020.
The Dems need to respond with some excellent sound bites and keywords, using the points that won the House in the midterm elections: Trump and the Republicans in the Senate and House are trying to take away your healthcare.
That’s the message, as opposed to “Medicare for All,” and other things that might be good food for Sanders’ and Warren’s base, but it is too easy for Trump and his ilk to counter with scare tactics: “you’ll lose the health insurance you have,” socialism (too close to communism!), etc.
Bbbbut “Trump Digs Coal” or something.
Seriously. I almost fell off my chair a couple weeks ago when the state police endorsed a Democrat for Chester County DA, even after the 2018 election results.
Must. Steal. Election.
The local volunteers I’ve met lately are deadly competent, boy. And not one of them is fooling around. Give us a halfway plausible top of the ticket and we’ll take it from there.
Some context from a recent poll (March 2019):
And:
From Politico:
The meeting is expected to focus on field deployment, voter data and coordination between state and national officials.
Worth noting.
Wonder how much of that state/national coordination is voter targeting vs. voter targeting for voter suppression ala Kris Kobach’s magic list - which he promoted to other states while SOC in Kansas, I believe a number of states are still using it, despite its well documented flaws (and intent.)

If Rump won PA with less than 1%, then I would say that was more of an outlier than anything else. Coupled with the fact that the PA Dem Party seems to be very on point, the regime’s chances of winning PA are slim to none. If they do take PA, look to shenanigans taking place with vote tallies.
Uh huh. People in the moribund former coal-mining towns liked the way he talked, but nothing much has come of that talk, believe it or not. You’ll see a revitalized whaling industry out of New Bedford before coal comes roaring back.
Did they clarify which nation the national officials are from?
Mmmm, the smell of fear is truly delectable
“Clean coal,” too, no doubt.
According to Politico, some have laid blame with party chairman Val Digiorgio for lackluster fundraising and voter mobilization. Rumors of a no confidence vote ran rampant for months, but never came to pass.
Right idea, but wrong person. If they want to know whose responsible for the lackluster PA GOP performance they need to look higher up the food chain to the man at the top of the party.
They’re going to try to get the Jill Stein campaign mobilized. It worked last time.
