Which is the frustrating part of all of this. By any neutral account, yesterday was two HUGE hiccups for the Trump campaign. But people like Todd canât stop themselves from fawning all over HO.
I mean, considerâŠhe met with a foreign leader, and within hours, the foreign leader is publicly calling him a liar.
He gave a speech that proved that his campaign had been lying and spinning the press corps for a week. Over the top rhetoric and âpolicyâ, with no details about how any of it would work or be paid for.
The speech was so bad, that his Hispanic Advisory Board is pulling out of his campaign all together.
And the speech did nothing to improve his standing with any group besides the racist ring wingersâŠwho are already in the bag for him.
How in the world can any talking head describe any of this as a positive for his campaign??
And all the âsofteningâ of his stance was to give cover for those who donât want to be lumped together with his racist base. Well itâll be interesting to see that demographic bail on him. OTOH what position did they agree with him on, his tax policy or the âRâ behind his name?
