Teavangelicals don’t trust him. Probably the wisest move they have made in ages.

I think this will carry more weight among Trump’s base than anything Romney said yesterday.

Go ahead, sweetheart. You tell him.

That laser beam will be turned on you so fast, you’ll be a cinder before you get a chance to argue.

Good ol Jenny Beth…back again. Wonder what her opinion is of the “Constitution loving” members of the Judiciary Committee who refuse to take up Obama’s SCOTUS pick, hmmm, What you got to say JB? Think they revere that document much…we’d love to hear your take on it.

Yah, the grown ups cannot fathom what they are dealing with. Trying to make reasonable requests of unreasonable tRump supporters only serves to have them become more rabid in their support of him.

I have doubts that they will vote at all if their idol is not the nominee.

Correct. He is not the Teabagger Party. He is exploiting a large herd of useful idiots.

Many never voted before, so it figures. These are the people who say “Ahh, they’re all crooks.” Lazy, complacent, unearned cynicism. I may not follow politics as insightfully as many of our folks here, but I probably know as many actual politicians as anyone, because I’ve been writing about them for decades, from borough council people to senators. They simply aren’t “all crooks.”

Naa, for every TP activist disclaiming him, there is one saying he is the Next Coming. Which is the basic problem with the whole Not Trump quasi movement.

I mean consider the day that the NYT published its piece about GOPers planning a strategy to stop Trump, the governor most quoted in the article announced his support of Trump that very afternoon.

His loudest critics all said last night that they will vote for him. As did Ryan in his “condemnation” statement.

“I can’t stand a thing he stands for. But I am damn sure voting for him”

I also have concerns that Democrats might not be excited enough to vote. The kerfuffle that is the GOTP is getting the most attention and the drama will continue all the way into their convention, maybe beyond that even. It’s sucking all the oxygen out of the election.

Oh yes he does, you sow! You people elected a group of do-nothing, bib-dribbling, spoon clanging jerks in 2010 and it’s been more of the same ever since. He is exactly one of you!

Other than the fact that his statements and actions are the Tea Party boiled down into its purest form put on steroids and drawn to all of its logical conclusions, he is absolutely nothing like the Tea Party.

" …Here is what I think: Donald Trump loves himself first, last, and everywhere in between.”

It’s those parts “everywhere in between” that he appears to love the best, though.

Well she will tell you the Constitution was not written to apply to blacks. Especially ones in the White House.

The Tea Party? Tea Party? What the fuck is the Tea Party? Oh, yeah, I forgot about those guys. I usually think of them as the Make-Believe Living In Bizarro World Know-Nothing Racist Woman-Haters Club.
