I might be willing to take them more seriously if this isn’t what they already pictured Fox News to be and if they didn’t think NPR, which already does this exactly and does it quite well, was some sort of Bolshevik propaganda network. Fuck off.

If you bend it…to the right…the left or ‘straight down the middle’ its not news. That’s not journalism. If you make it fair…or balanced its not news. If you adjust it or unskew it to get it where is should be…its not news. That’s not journalism.

Yep, exactly. They’re going to label themselves as a straight-up “fair and balanced” news source, since nobody believes that about Fox any more. If people fall for it, they will succeed in sowing confusion about what the facts really are. Look for them to cover all the Obamacare horror stories and anything casting doubt on climate change, no matter how dubious or obscure it may be.

That’s exactly how this will end up. Again, DeMint is continuing to spend like a drunken sailor, at a time where money for Tea Party groups is drying up.

I doubt this even gets off the ground. I suspect after DeMint loses every race he has gone into in a big way this cycle(and the polling shows that he is losing every one), his ability to spend is going to be seriously curtailed.
