Discussion: Suspected Orlando Shooter's Ex-Wife Says He Was Not 'A Stable Person'

Oh no. That cannot possibly be the reason, because I heard Marco Rubio and Peter King and many other “moderate” members of the GOP saying that he was really a trained terrorist from Afghanistan (even though the shooter was born and bred in NY, but then, according to the RW and FoxNews, NYC is basically a terrorist cell anyway; the love after 9/11 for The Big Apple faded pretty fucking fast, didn’t it?)
And still, not one tear for the victims. But then, did we ever expect any real sympathy from any of these motherfuckers?

NBC mentioned a son from this marriage not mentioned in the WP story…I’d like to know who has custody of the child?

The Israel Times reports that his father said he got upset when he saw a man kissing another man. Sounds like, with his abuse of his wife, and his excessive reaction to male homosexuality, he was a terribly screwed up fellow–hating the gays because he couldn’t openly ever join them?

How did he get his guns? Ammunition? This has to stop. A hateful bigot with a gun. God help the victims and families.

Another incident to prompt Ryan and McConnell to introduce strong gun control legislation!!! The media needs to keep this issue front, center abd constant until congress is forced to act.

It’s Rick Scott’s Florida. Probably got them from a 25-cent gumball machine.

From the Guardian

The two presumptive nominees for president have each responded to the mass shooting. The Democrat expressed solidarity with the victims and the Republican thanked his followers for “the congrats” for talking about his fears of terrorism.

Man’s a disgrace.

The comments on the Washington Post are so bad I…am at a loss for words. WTF is wrong with people?

Good thing everyone can get assault rifles, including mentally unstable abusers. The NRA wouldn’t want it any other way.

Given how many people support Trump, do you even need to ask?

mymy – Be very careful about that lazy assumption. in effect you are blaming gay hate crimes on frustrated gay men.

Unless you have some reason to believe that he is actually gay, why not go with the most obvious conclusion: he was one screwed up straight guy, possibly influenced by his religious beliefs?

This is looking more and more like a messed up homophobe with “issues” and his inability to process his own inner turmoil as it pertains to sex, gender, and power over them.

Why was it so EASY for him to get his AR-15?

Because the most homophobic men are actually closet-headcases.

Or it like someone who should have taken his handgun and blew his brains out before he killed anyone else.

That was snark, right?

Forcing Congress to act is extremely difficult. Changing who gets elected is a much simpler project.

The majority of these so called “analysts” seem insistant on pushing the “Islamic terrorist” theme. That he pledged his allegiance to Daesh to a 911 operator is all the proof they need. The fact that he may very well have been predominately homophobic seems to be getting lost.

It was a real question.
