They absolutely conflate gun ownership and safety, as though a gun emitted a glowing blue protective cloud when in fact a gun is good for punching holes in things period. Then they talk about combating mental illness after having set it up so that anyone whoâs losing it emotionally can run straight down to the gun store and get whatever artillery he (or she) wants.
The NRA does not allow loaded firearms at its annual conventions or allow visitors to be âpackingâ when visiting their headquarters.
