UmmmâŚI donât really know how to take this? Is it an admonition? Iâm white. Judging by my paycheck, Iâm very working class. Iâm a man. I really donât want to get into a debate RE the division in our country, but this doesnât this statement lump me in with the guy that just murdered one man and wounded two others?
The whole point of my post was that we are not, as a community, gender, job grade, or region, the same as this person.

IN 2018 Dems defend 25 Senate seats, Republicans defend 8. The House is gerrymandered to a degree a Republican majority is a virtual certainty for many years to come. Trump will remake the Supreme Court over 4 years, firmly entrenching more conservatives and cementing it as right wing for a generation. There is a huge backlog of unfilled judicial vacancies in the Federal court system, left over from years of Republican refusal to confirm Obama nominations. Trump is going to fill all of them. Courts at the state level will suffer the same fate, with the decided majority of state legislatures and Governorships held by Republicans. Face it, it will be more than a generation before things turn around.

Well you wait and watch what happens. We elect our state judges in Texas, which is how we threw out 49 Repug judges and replaced them with 49 Democrats in one night in Dallas Co.
I know you always see things from the very most bleakly sardonic point of view, but there is no Trump militia. One nut in Olathe does not a militia make.

The GOP is the party of victims. The Democrats are the party of hope, and optimism that we can achieve a more perfect Union. You are correct that the immediate forecast looks bleak, if you accept that forecast as a guaranteed prophecy. I donât accept that forecast as guaranteed. I look at it as a challenge, and as a reminder that i canât afford to sit on my ass and claim to be a victim of the Republican destruction of my country. But, it is a free country. You can complain as much as you want, and do as much or as little as you want. Just donât go out and kill anybody because you feel like a victim.

To judge by the picture, this man really has no idea what a Muslim is. I donât think he has a PHD in anything, to put it mildly.
