Awww câmon, Suzy, donât you want to be in on the oligarchyâs molestation of the poor, sick, elderly and middle-class? Itâs gonna be a whole ton of funâŚ
Good goddess, but does she love that spotlight.
Embrace her donât mock her.
She is a least trying to think which is not happening with most other Republicans.
Maybe a little love from the other side will encourage her to do the right thing.
Maybe not but give it a try.
We need 3 defections to take over the Senate. 2 if Moore loses.
Itâs all about the outcomes. Iâm trying to look past the posturing and focus on that. If she helps kill this thing millions will benefit.
There is only one phrase to use whenever Susan Collins makes you a promise:
BLOW ME!
I am guessing Collins got an earful after her voted premised on âpromisesâ from folks whose word means shit.
What the hell did she expect?
This just sets up the House to vote on the POS legislation that the Senate sent over, complete with all the throat-cutting and math errors.
Makes me think this was the game plan all along.
Off-topic but: Whatâs to keep McConnell from refusing to seat Frankenâs replacement, citing the Gorsuch Rule?
I âmoderatelyâ hope that a Dem âmoderatelyâ kicks the living shit out of this phony âmoderateâ in the next Maine Senatorial election.
Yes, but nevertheless, we need a route to flip 51-49 to 49-51 and that route goes through her office.
Unfortunately, wonât happen.
Nothing. I suspect they are already contemplating that very tactic, if they think they have a candidate for 2018 that has a good chance.
And donât think for a moment that seating Moore, after saying they wouldnât, while holding up a perfectly legitimate seating from MN will bother McConnell. He is ALL about votes right now.
Not necessarily. The route goes through NV, AZ and one other state. MN is a possibility, though I havenât seen many folks up there consider it a likely one. However, Sabato just moved TN to a tossupâŚwhich I foudn rather surprising.
The point is, there are other options. Of course, all of those options include holding every single seat we are defending. And thatâs going to be a tall order.
I meant this monthâs House-Senate Reconciliation Bill, not 2018 elections. My tiny hope is that Collins and Flake realize their miscalculation and that McCain has at least one more âfuck you, Donnieâ moment in him.
Susan, the Republican party has left you. They only want you for your vote, not your ideas or even to spend time with you. Itâs OK for you to just change sides of the aisle. Then you wouldnât need to play this game anymore. Unless, that is, you just enjoy this kind of attention.
Republican Sen. Susan Collins of Maine says she may change her vote on the GOP tax overhaul if her amendments are not included in the final measure.
âMay,â not âwill,â because sheâll only vote NO if they donât need her vote to pass it.
Trump; I donât need her.No amendments for her. I have 50 + Pence. Case closed.
Flake: Yup.
Yep. Collins alone doesnât get us there. A ray of hope, perhaps? Now would be a good time for Trump to tweet something nasty about Flake or McCain.
I think Iâll forward that question to my two Senators, Chuck & Kirsten !
