Let’s set up a GoFundMe to buy Ms. Collins a spine. Her current one is way too flexible…

I guess flake and Sasse will be the next up expressing their faux outrage at trump

It’s not your outrage that counts Sen. Collins – it’s your vote.

Born fifty years later Collins would be the very model of a bad-faith Internet “debater”. She has the main required skill, which is picking one tiny detail to make a lot of mouth sounds about while steadfastly ignoring all context and scope.

I’m sure she’ll have to wring her hands extra hard when casting her “aye”.

But you’ll vote with the appalling president anyway won’t you?

Spare us, Susan, any more of your bullshit please. You have become exceedingly tiresome.

Add ‘appalled’ to the list, along with ‘troubled’ and ‘concerned.’

Look, she and McCain have made a multi-decade career out of this.

Clearly she’s doing something “right”. I think it involves banking on the pathetic attention span of America’s public.

“I was appalled.”

“Almost bordering on concerned,” she continued. “Not quite seriously concerned yet, but if this goes on, I may become almost very concerned, at which point I will definitely need a meaningless assurance before I vote with Trump anyway,”

I’ve said this before - it’s the only attention she gets and she loves it and she plays it for every bit of attention she can wring out of it.

well, at least she didn’t go with “concerned”! Baby steps, Susan. Maybe in 50 or 100 years you’ll be ready to actually stand up for something.

Does anyone know why Susan Collins is speaking in past tense terms? Is she no longer angry or think Trump’s remarks as being inappropriate, today?

I thought that the president’s tweet was completely inappropriate and wrong, but he is not the nominee for a life time appointment to the Supreme Court so it won’t have any effect on my vote.
