Roberts, forced into being the new swing justice?
Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
Ain’t sayin’ there was; nice to see the possibility of it.
There was talk Roberts would be the new swing justice, this seems to give that opinion some credence. Fine with me. 
There’s something really sad with a right-wing apparatchik being the swing justice. But it’s better than seeing him vote to ignore the clear letter of the law.
Just YAY.
The rule of law is hanging in there.
You know that Roberts must loathe Trump. I mean, who doesn’t, but it’s nice to think about. And how about Gorsuch and Kavanaugh being appointed by a man who will eventually be indicted for treason (albeit probably indirectly). They good with that? I know, I know … of course they are.
He is just teasing us… there will be plenty more times where he will be in lock step with his fellah’s.

Well, between the Senate (potentially) and the Supreme Court not rolling over for BLOTUS on this issue (“border security”), on the same day, who’s he going vilify first?
By a thread. I’ll take it, for now.
It’s not a good week for Trump.
Roberts is thinking about the legacy of the court. CJ’s of SCOTUS do sometimes actually grow into the role.
I hope Roberts keeps growing! Meanwhile, so glad to have something to be glad about.
Maybe, just maybe, Roberts still cares about his court’s reputation. That’s a very good thing…
