“Guns don’t kill people…people do”. So if you don’t want folks killed don’t put them in the proximity of people with guns. Perhaps the Cop’s aren’t the best tool to deal with problems like this. It seems they have one solution…a one size fits all…and lots of folks die because of it.

Excuse me but when the politicians decided to turn most of the inmates of most mental health facilities loose a long, long time ago,our jails and prisons have doubled as a third world mental health facilities and our police have doubled as poorly trained mental health professionals since.
In this case, the police could have checked to determine if there was a second entrance, if not they could have waited.
