I like Avenatti too, and strongly suspect this is a set up, but there is nothing in the article you link that justifies the claim that this is bogus. There are the denials by his 2 ex significants; are those the grounds for your claim?

Yeah, nothing in that article disproves anything. I would love for this to be a Jacob Wohl frame-up, but so far it’s a live case moving forward, we know nothing.

Avenatti put a very large target on his back when he took on the Dumpsterfire. I look forward to hearing the details. A frame-up wouldn’t surprise me a bit.
And anyone planning on running in 2020 should take notice. An early start means that the opposition has more time to fire missiles in your direction.
