It sounds funny to say it, but the nation is likely to owe a debt of gratitude to a porn star if in the end she contributes to restricting the Trump administration’s war on America. Her and her lawyer are doing a very good job of presenting their case and hammering Trump and everyone around him.
I think he did send somebody to threaten her, that seemed credible to me, so if I were her I’d like to walk up to him and kick him in the shins and shout out, Hope your kids get to grow up with a father, a-hole.
Boy do I believe EVERY thing she said.
And DJT, telling Comey, do I LOOK like a guy who needs to hire prostitutes, hey JERK you offered both Stormy AND Karen McDougal money after doing the bang-bang with them.
Alana (don’t remember her last name) that was offered a 3-some with Stormy and Donald says SHE is getting death threats JUST for backing up Stormy’s story. Criminee.
I know it’s harsh but after careful study and reflection, I have come to the inescapable conclusion that there are several rocks in my landscaping that are smarter than these guys.
Especially the quartz.
Not when you consider that one of the greatest defenders of the First Amendment has been Larry Flynt, a self-described “smut peddler.”
Stormy has shown more restraint and class with her public comments than her bomb throwing lawyer. The more she talks, the more I like her.
Well duh. That’s the plan!
On a second thought, we should not be surprised that a porn actress is better spoken than this president.
Certainly has a larger vocabulary.
Not-widely-known-fact: If you hit a piece of quartz reasonably sharply (hammer, another rock), it will give off a small flash of light*. Try that with Cohen or tRump and see what happens.
- Triboluminescence. You can get the effect crunching crystallized sugar in your teeth, but it has to be dark to be observable.
Still waiting for the artist’s drawing of the man who threatened Daniels. I thought that was going to be released last Tuesday.
So I’d say it’s time we begin calling her by her name, Stephanie Clifford, which @mattshuham used part of, probably confusing a lot of people
I have been thinking for a while that ‘adult film actress’ was more appropriate than ‘porn star’. I realized that my attachment to ‘porn star’ is rooted in my desire to emphasize Drumpf’s sleaze. Stephanie Clifford is showing the fault in that.
This feels like it’s really a Jayne Mansfield movie.
Yeah, that random “Clifford” was odd.
I don’t know that she prefers to be known by her real name. She may well be happy to get as much exposure for her screen name as she can. Which name does her lawyer use when speaking to the public?
It can also be sharp and clear, neither of which Cohen or Spanky is guilty of.
When I’ve heard Avenatti talk about her, I don’t recall that he’s used her name, but instead called her “my client” and referred to her when appropriate as being in “adult films.” For anybody who’s watched Boogie Nights as much as I have, you can see there’s humanity in the industry. It’s consensual and a lot of people like to watch.
Why? This sounded like a Texas criminal lawyer. What does her choice of career have to do with the intelligence, articulateness, frankness, and grace under fire she brings to this?
The movie is writing itself. Adult entertainment star takes on corrupt mobster in the White House. If she’s doing this to promote her personal brand, she’s doing a damn good job. The person most guilty of judging her for the nature of her entertainment skills is one Donald Trump, who was just known as a stupid mobbed up rich womanizer.
