One of his best ever.
It’s too bad that more politicians aren’t getting busted like these two did.
Stewart is too kind. The McDonnells never graduated from kindergarten (No, I don’t know why we still call it that.)
Unfortunately, the exaggerated zany antics that we see on Stewarts show can’t compare to the mirth and satire worthy antics created by elected leaders in real life. To the people that put them in office…what in God’s name are you thinking? I know…I know…they are only a part of the despicable machine that gets rubber stamped in the illusory facade that pretends to foster a representative democracy. As long as the influence of money dictates the outcome of every race their is no chance of limiting the depth and breadth of corruption in the current system and changes to the process are light years away.
‘What Are They, In 4th Grade?’
yes. Mrs.McDonnell could have married Fred, who now is the rich owner of a mafia-controlled construction company. she’d be living in the style to which she’d like to become accustomed. but no, she married Bob who was supposed to become a rich lawyer, but instead became the gov. of VA, which hardly pays anything at all. she’s entitled, dammit!
then that nice (rich) Jonnie came along, and gave her nice things, and put up with her constant whining (because they don’t live together), maybe she should have ignored mother, and married him. oh, it’s so hard for a girl to know which man’s pockets are actually deeper!
He should have been elected in Texas. Nothing criminal going on here if he was in Texas. Rick Perry thinks this is the way things get done.
