Hey, Cantaloupe brain, that’s exactly the problem.

The clueless following the soulless…

I long for the day where conservatives truly are an endangered species…

I really don’t know which is worse. Trump surrounded by barking mad crazies that horrify people more and more as they come to find out more about them, or having the more “normal” operatives around him become his face.

And this makes you the wingnut Steve!

Trump: Sorry, I have realized that I prefer Jewish Bankers to Racists. Its too bad I had to pick one or the other. They dont seem to get along.

Hardly.

Before he was made part of the Donald’s team, no one beside Breitbart readers even knew who he was. He may be what brought the alt-right to the Donald’s big top, but that doesn’t account for enough votes to get the Donald elected dog catcher. Further, I suspect that electorally most of the alt-right is rather like libertarians - apolitical in the sense that they rarely have anyone they would vote for. In fact, exit Bannon and his influence and the Donald may very well moderate and become more acceptable to “mainstream” Rethugs.

Since Trump has no actual beliefs—just handy and false memes—it is quite possible for him to toss Bannon under the bus with all the others who have gone before.

I hope he does, which will piss off a lot of his most demented supporters, and will have the added benefit of helping Democrats in the mid-terms.

But Steve, that Trump base energy comes from crystal meth. You know that.

Worth repeating.

But it may be better if he’s kept around until a bit closer to.

“Linchpin” just wouldn’t look right in this context.

Not that he would know the difference …

Steve Bannon:
Lynchpin? No
Lynchpin? Yes

He’s really more of a bowling pin than a lynchpin.

Hey Steve, I know the word “lynch” has special meaning to your and Bannon’s followers, but you need to learn to be a little more subtle about it.

Does he mean white racist nationalists are an endangered species which is a good thing…

Bombing the Middle East will win over the mainstream Republican voters and talking heads in the media. It is safe to lose the Bannonites now.

Steve, “Lynchpin” was too obvious.
Why not say that Bannon is the “cornerstone” of your movement?
It save saying “War of Northern Aggression”, but I think the point would be made.
