Fools like King are a dime a dozen in the Republican lead House and Senate. Holler “Hey, Rube” in either place and watch all the heads turn!

“Well, it was in Greece not that long ago and I asked why, when they were digging up the statues that had their hair painted blond, why I don’t see very many blond Greeks,” King said. “The guide looked at me and said, ‘That’s what 400 years of Turkish occupation will do to you.’”

Man. Turkish occupation leads to buried statues with blond beards? Oh, the HORROR!

I’m sorry, but did he just equate legal immigration in this country to the Greek genocide committed by the Ottoman Empire? Oh, that’s right…“white genocide white genocide something something make 'em all slaves again and see how much they want to stay THEN!”

Did the good voters of the state of Iowa really return this ignoramus to office? Thanks, thanks so much.

I heard someone on NPR this morning defend the “dykes” comment by saying that sometimes lesbians use that term affectionately or jokingly. I guess that makes “n-------” fair game as well.
While it’s somewhat entertaining to listen to these tools tie themselves into knots while defending the indefensible, I should probably not listen while driving to work. Its not safe.

Yeah King all the original inhabitants of this country were natural blondes until something dreadful happened and dark people showed up and made them all brown.

And on behalf of American women let me just say that we really feel like we were raped and you people made our rapist president.

Oh come on Steve. tell us what you REALLY want Trump to propose: “Require Yellow Felt Crescents be sewn onto the clothing of EVERY MUSLIM in America.” and then deny them citizenship, and exit visas, and burn down all the Mosques.
That way we know who “the enemy” is.
Hey, it worked to “Make Germany Great Again” in 1934. Why not here?
In the words of your Dear Leader Trump: “What have they got to lose?”

‘He went on to praise “American values” as a source of prosperity and suggested that immigrants should “earn their own prosperity” by promoting American values in their countries of origin.’ Again. A required tour of KANSAS for Republican ‘values and ethics’.

Only the FAR NORTHERN Greeks (the Macedonians) were blondish.
The rest of the Greeks were what we would call “typical Mediterranean”.
After Alexander the Great they mixed with every single other regional group in the “known world”.
After that Greece was the Crossroads of the World with ever single ethnic group crossing through at some time.
And what the hell does that have to do with it anyway? I didn’t know that Hitler was BLOND?

What a dummy. All countries have immigrants. Not all were built on the basis of immigration.

It’s funny how half of the excuses for bad behaviour by Trump or Bannon, etc. are based on “well we won/the voters didn’t care”. That’s not actually a defence, you know.
