If 100 people want to erect a village in Montana that looks exactly like a Mongolian village, and live as best they can imitate 14th century Mongolians, thatās their business. Sharia law is not like a fruitcake, you canāt bring it here and force everyone to try some at Christmas. Sharia law is a political/belief system, but it is trumped (god, I hate using that word now) by American law.
Looking at the wikipedia info on Sharia law, I donāt believe any country or city follows sharia law fully. If they tried implementing it here, a lot of it would break US laws so weād deal with them like we do other non-white folks and shoot them in the street.
And fundamentalist Christians trying to force their religion onto other Americans is about as un-Constitutional and un-American as it can get. Wish Hayes had mentioned that.
