And Catholics bring Papal law, and Jews bring Jewish law. And, like the Muslims, this religious law only applies to the people who are members of the faith, so why care?

It’s legal to maintain whatever cultural practices you choose to, individually and as a group. If 100 people want to erect a village in Montana that looks exactly like a Mongolian village, and live as best they can imitate 14th century Mongolians, that’s their business. That’s what makes this nation what it is.

Here’s a little background on “Lopes” King! King was a war hero during the Vietnam War and we should be proud of here’s how he served and what he did! It takes a man with a set of brass balls to be as brave as King was!

Sharia law is not like a fruitcake, you can’t bring it here and force everyone to try some at Christmas. Sharia law is a political/belief system, but it is trumped (god, I hate using that word now) by American law.

Looking at the wikipedia info on Sharia law, I don’t believe any country or city follows sharia law fully. If they tried implementing it here, a lot of it would break US laws so we’d deal with them like we do other non-white folks and shoot them in the street.

I would ask Mr King who among us is not from an immigrant group?
John Kennedy when he ran for office was quizzed repeatedly about his Irish heritage (I too am partly Irish) and his Catholic faith. Would Mr King have rejected Kennedy based on his religion or ethnicity? Apparently he would.
