Wait, so you think it’s fun to challenge her ethnicity because it suits your political purposes? The notions of identifying with Cuba (because that’s her actual heritage) and wanting to stop school shootings are not in any in conflict or ironic. This puts up the straw argument that anti-violence gun control advocates are taking away everyone’s guns. We are not advocating that. Unless you are mentally unfit or a criminal, we aren’t grabbing your gun. We are asking that military weapons remain in the sole possession of the military though. It seems to work with landmines, bazookas, grenade launchers, and whatnot. Don’t see a whole lot of attacks with them now do ya? We’re simply proposing to add high capacity weapons to that list.

Really wish someone would explain to conservatives what irony is. Even if she was promoting communism, it’s not ironic to be pro-communist and support gun control. By King’s logic, that’s what gun control is really all about so there is no irony here.

I don’t know about stupidest, but he’s certainly way ahead of whoever’s in second place for biggest asshole. He’s the kind of asshole that other assholes look at and say, “Now there’s a real asshole.”
Common decency is seen as a liability among conservatives. They are a rabidly angry constituency. Have you read Rick Santorum’s latest? Whatever the shortcomings of liberal elites, they lack the mean spirited viciousness of this motley un-American bunch. I don’t know what common ground there possibly is to find. I hope every single one of these politicians and their defenders is voted out of office or neutered by a sensible and overwhelming opposition majority. Make sure your kids and all their friends vote!
